International Womens Day 2023
Embrace Equity was the theme of International Womens day 2023.
We invited girls and teachers from other colleges in Zanzibar Town area to celebrate Womens Day with us. We started with sport activities on the beach – Yoga, running and games, followd by lunch and the afternoon with our wonderful guest of honour Maryam Mansab who gave the students some encouraging words. Our students demonstarted diffent ways to wear a Khnaga in a fabulous fashion show, later all the guests were invited to truy different st
yles of wearing Khanga and join the catwalk for a spin of modelling. A wonderful day!
