Heritage and Preservation Specialization Course for Tourguides
Course Content:
The Specialization Training in Heritage aims at increasing the knowledge of tour guides about Zanzibar history and its tangible and intangible heritage.
The course consists of 5 modules:
| 1. Core Module | Learn about world heritage conservation and protection |
| 2. History of Zanzibar | learn, discuss and evaluate about important historical topics |
| 3. Intangible Heritage | Learn about the culture of Zanzibar |
| 4. Tangible Heritage | Learn about architecture, building techniques and development of Stonetown |
| 5. Practice Heritage walks | practice new heritage tours that have been developed for the project |
